Psychiatric Session
Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your physical and mental health to provide medication to alleviate psychiatric symptoms. Each subsequent visit would include ongoing psychiatric needs, efficacy of medications if prescribed prior and any new stressors that may arise.

Ketamine Infusion Therapy
Ketamine infusion therapy is usually given in 6 sessions initially within the first month followed by 2 boosters over the following 2 months. Ketamine can be given to augment the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) the day prior to therapy by lessening mood reactivity and anxiety. Ketamine is currently not covered by insurance, therefore is cash-pay only at this time. Ketamine for pain is usually given over a longer period of time and can be individualized to meet your goals although prices may vary. A 25% discount is given for those who pay for all 8 sessions prior to the first infusion.

Addiction and Recovery
In-person only because of urine drug screen requirements with certain withdrawal medications. We work closely with several detox centers and rehabs to continue medication assisted treatment such as Suboxone films, Sublocade and Vivitrol injections. We also can provide closely monitored outpatient detoxification for some drugs of abuse. If you are abusing opiates and you are reading this page, if not at Tatum Psychiatry, then get help somewhere. Treatment is now availalbe at a low cost to be free of opiate dependence.
